KUALA TERENGGANU, April 13 (Bernama) -- Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh wants all government departments and agencies to have coffee-corners to avoid the staff from leaving the office to have a drink.
"We want to have coffee-corners on all floors to reduce the number of officers and staff leaving the office during office hours which is not a healthy culture," he told reporters after chairing the state exco meeting here Wednesday.
Idris said he was aware of government servants taking long-break during office hours when they went out for their coffee-break.
He added the state government viewed the matter seriously and that he had instructed State Secretary Datuk Muhatar Abdullah to put a halt to such a practice.
